Thank you to all who attempted to get onto Education City for last night's homework.  I apologize for the confusion!  We have been having trouble with the site but didn't realize the students would be locked out of the 2nd grade activites!  For those of you who were able to get in, it seems that you were only able to access the Pre-K activities.  We will continue to try and resolve this situation.  I will keep you posted!  Thanks for your patience and understanding. 

Thank you to those of you who were able to make it to the Open House tonight.  I know that life is busy and I want you to know how much I appreciate you taking the time to come.  I hope that you enjoyed your time in our class/school.  The children have been working hard in preparation for your visit.  I want to reiterate the importance of the home/school connection.  Please never hesitate to call or send a note/email if you have questions or concerns.  You certainly do not need to wait for conference time to share your thoughts.  Know that my door is always open!

Thank you so much for coming to the open house today.  It was so nice to see all of your smiling faces!    I am even MORE excited for our first day of school tomorrow!  Feel free to bring a water bottle (because it is hot!!) and a snack.  Also, we will have Art as our specialist tomorrow so no need to worry about sneakers.  Enjoy your evening and I'll see you tomorrow!

Welcome to 2nd Grade!

The summer is coming to an end and that means our new school year is right around the corner!  I am excited to begin another year teaching 2nd grade and I'm even more excited to meet you!  I hope you have had the most amazing summer!  Think about some great stories you can share with me.  Enjoy these last few weeks with your family and friends.  We will meet each other very soon!
